Line of fire-mare update

After reading all your replies and finding that you all thought the same as me (I didnt know if people would just think that I was being a little OTT about putting an aged mare into foal)
I made the call. Luckily-I think-someone my sister knows has 'contacts' to an organisation. It will take a while to amass the evidence but they are confident that they will be able to actually take the mare from her! I think its all going to rest on the word of the vet who was looking after the mare when she was injured who had told the owner that really the mare should be pts.

Well done you...its because of people like her that we got so many knackered and suffering horses in this country....... I hope that the best thing is done for this poor mare !
