linseed for dogs?

My dogs have been licking the boiled linseed gloop for the horses, and seem to like it - a lot!
Can I give it to them as part of their diet, and if so, how much do you reckon?

Thought I would bump this up as I give my horses micronised linseed and the dogs LOVE it! But is it good for dogs?
