does anyone find linseed jelly to be heating? i have just boiled up a batch for my TB but am having some behavioural problems with him just now so dont want to feed him it if it may be heating at all!

When you say 'heating' what exactly do you mean? All food is 'heating' as it contains calories.

sorry! by heating i mean can it cause fizziness?

Well tbh all feed has the potential to cause fizziness but in my experience linseed has never given me any problems. It will put on weight, help the joints and other organs in the body and give a great bloom to the coat.
make sure you get one marketed for horses though and NOT the stuff used for things like oiling cricket bats as that is poisonous.
Simple System do a super one which is already prepared so no cooking and no horrid smell!
