Lip strap for showing!

Hello gang! I am preparing my horses's showing outfit! I am going to use a pelham, but I know you have to buy a lip strap. So I was wondering if I buy a flat one or a round one?! I haven't got a clue! Thanks in advance for the help. xxx

Mine is a little thin round one for showing. I think thats the better option

flat or round it doesnt really matter.
Mine is round just coz i think it looks a bit neater..... but thats just me!
You don't have to buy a lip strap for the curb chain, it just helps it look neater and more togehter

I don't use one and know a lot of other people don't either at county level so I guess its just personal choice and the overall picture?

I got mine from Flyde - about £10 I think.

Personally I think it just adds the finishing touch, and strictly speaking is correct, though a lot of people don't bother with it.

Ditto - should be round - it looks smarter.

It is correct for the show ring to have one - I have a lovely rounded one - really neat and tidy.
