Probably a quick question - LEH, has anyone had bloods ran through them and spoken to any of the team directly or must I go through my vet and ask him to speak to them? Assuming there will be a charge to their interpretation of results, does anyone have any idea what this is? Thanks

I've only ever liaised through my vet - I assume it was your vet who took and sent the bloods?

In my experience they send the results to your own vet (who will have made the referral) who will then call you to discuss. There is a charge for the results but it should be billed together with your own vet taking the bloods, it was about £75 from memory. I also requested to be emailed a pdf copy of the results by my vet, which had 'interpretations' and laboratory ranges on.

Ah ok, yes my vet has already spoken through results and given me a PDF copy, however I very specifically wanted to know Andy Duhrams interpretation of results as I’ve read he is a specialist in the field. I don’t doubt my vet but I was wondering if Andy would have a different interpretation but perhaps that’s already been discussed. Thanks

Just looking at my bills from last summer it was 'Blood Test - Procedure & Interpretation' £45 then 'Lab Fees' which varied depending on what was being tested (mine ranged from ££43 to £110) but I don't know if those charges were decided by my vets or just standard charges from Liphook.
