Liquid Rubber

Sorry for pointless post, but I have absolutely no idea what the product you are talking about is and am imagining some sort of strange sticky swimming lane. Ignore me!

I think it is quite reasonably priced - they used it in the stables where I used to keep Ellie, because it was cheaper than matting. It was awfully slippery though; they didnt use it in the yard for this reason.

Not sure price wise, but it is fairly disgusting to put down, and difficult to get a nice look to it. I would worry on a horsewalker that, because it goes down fairly thinly, it would wear through where the horses tend to walk in one place. We tried loads of different surfaces before going to rubber paviours. When we moved and put in another walker, I didn't hesitate to put the paviours down again, wouldn't have anything else.

I have this in the centre of the aisle of my american barn. Awkward to put down and hard to get looking right as Rowreach has said. It is slippery when wet so wouldn't recommend it for a walker at all. However we find it excellent and appropriate for where it is, though we put down a thicker layer.

Think it was £109 pr bag, stable if i recall uses 4 bags at 12mm thick, a horsewalker i think needed to be 25 mm thick (so expensive)
Just been loooking into liquid rubber, equimats and single piece rubber...
