I’m trying to find an online stockist for a mask/ hood (no ears) rather then the Fenwick ones.

Has anyone compared the calming effects of both ? Is the Fenwick worth the money or is it just the close fit of something on the face that increases the calming effect ?

Intrigued to use something on one of our horses who can be a bit spooky with fillers at times - confidence issue we suspect.
Just wondering if one of these masks might indeed help with calming & confidence building (I’m applying the same thoughts as a thunder jacket for dogs)

I bought my hood from treehouse. I think they do Earless ones. Never used the titanium mask but I do see a fair few for sale so not sure if that's a sign they arnt worth the money?

We have a LT mask and it definitely helps our boy keep his brain in his head. I have wondered if it's the fit or the material that does it so I'd be curious to know the answer too, it may save is some dosh when he needs a new one!

Do they do earless ones though ? I think I looked a while back but only saw 'with ears'

I have an LT one, without ears. Personally I didn’t notice any difference with it on. Catago do one without ears at a much lower price point which may be worth a try.

I didn't buy it for behavioural reasons , but my LT mask with ears works very well as a therapeutic hood to warm up my wonky mare's poll and TMJ area. Chiro vet said she was 'best ever' there at her last session. Mare loves wearing it, too.

It is a lovely fit.

I haven't seen any cheaper alternatives.
