It’s hard to think that this time last year I thought Rosie wasn’t long for this world with her ridden behaviour and not being able to find out what was wrong.

We did and she was rebacked and as most of you will know she’s been absolutely fine.

This weekend she surpassed any expectation I had last year. We went to a showjumping training weekend and I’m so impressed by her enthusiasm and natural ability, despite what she’s been through, and she’s just amazing. I’m so glad I listened to her!!

Photo evidence (I have permission to use them), please excuse my terrible riding, I am working on it!! 30A4E65B-3375-4F4B-B81C-22C1F4EBEEC5.jpeg 58D18BA1-5C77-4320-986C-0A8A323CFA0D.jpeg 67B885AE-BE2A-4BD8-AD68-3237AC47AC0F.jpeg 173D6271-35CC-4DA9-8FF4-075EF729F433.jpeg

Thank you all. Now I just need to sort out my position, which has gone to pot after about 18 months off whilst I was broken then she was!! Otherwise I will be holding her back!

What lovely mare! What breeding is she? Looks a bit like my welsh.
She’s a full Irish Draught but I agree she looks a bit welsh. Sire is Huntingfield Rebel and Ginger Dick lines but Dam was unregistered so could literally be anything really!!

She’s 16.1 and solid and only getting broader!!

She had a bulge on both meniscus and both stifle joints were swollen. They’re not sure why (although at this point vet didn’t really care as was convinced she just had an attitude problem) but possibly because she went from 15.2 to 16.1 and a bit in less than 6 months
