.... and feeling like a bad Mum cos I left him out with no rug and it's not 'light rain' as forecast, it's thumping down!

I KNOW he's a horse, I KNOW I'm probably being anthropomorphic but I still feel bad to get into my dry bed....

(Plus I also KNOW what colour the little beggar will be by tomorrow - and white it ain't....:D)

B*88er Slinky! Hadn't thought of that!

What happens if I get there tomorrow and he's a 13.2?? My feet'll reach the floor:(

But you should know already that the rain washes then nice and clean and as the rain stops, there comes the urge to use the ground as a towel....:D

Where are you? Send some our way please, our fields are like concrete, the grass is gasping for a drink and the schools are like sand dunes. Might have to do a rain dance if it carries on much longer.!

Funnily enough (although you may not find it funny, Izz) I was in York today for a meeting. As the train got to Brum it was raining and then as I drove home to Oxfordshire it got warm again...

But we had a few drops of rain earlier here, then at 10ish the Heavens opened and I know it's still raining cos the roof's still leaking:D

So, in conclusion, I nicked your Yorkshire rainclouds and took them South. Want 'em back??
