Lister liberty clippers...

Yep I have them and they are great. Last year I did a blanket and a hunter clip on one charge. They are really quiet too so I have only had 1 pony object, but he was a lot better than with other clippers. Full size too so give a nice quick clip.

I've had them a year and I'm not that impressed just now. They slow down and stop on thicker hair (not that thick) and speed up when oiled (which I do very regularly during use). I'm going to get them serviced as I don't think they are quite right. The connector which holds the lead in the battery is very flimsy and has required to be replaced. It broke from metal fatigue not through rough use or accident. My local shop is pretty good tho and they actually fixed the broken cable thing for me and were going to send them back to lister if it couldn't be fixed.

I really want a smaller pair for legs and faces but not sure whether to get another lister clipper or not.

I like mine, although the battery has had a few problems. I haven't had problems with the connector to the battery breaking, but it does sometimes get stuck. I find I get a lot done with one charge though, and enjoy using them, especially in comparison to other clippers I have used.

Sorry to steal the thread, how did people go about getting the clip fixed? Mine has broken.
On the plus side the clippers are brilliant, I bought them because we have them at work where throughout winter the clip a few horses a day, day in day out. My boss has bought extra batteries to keep them going all day so ones charging ones clipping they get that much use!!!
