Lister Star clipper blade issue

Evening - just hoping to get some advice or see if anyone has had a similar issue...

I purchase a set of lister star clipper with a deal package before xmas, which included a bag, oil, 2 sets of blades and so on. The clippers arrived with these set of blades already fitted (plastic fitting):

These worked great and when they needed changing I went to swap the blades to the other blade included in the pack, which was these ones (metal fixing):

But it would not fit onto my Lister Stars correctly/evenly. I contacted the supplier, who after speaking direct to Lister confirmed that all lister blades should fit the Lister Star model.. and therefore they assumed they must be faulty and sent me a new packet of blades (the same metal fitting ones)... however I am having exactly the same problem.

Has anyone else had problems? Or equally, should the 2 types of blade fit the lister star?

I have Lister clippers and sometimes the blades are difficult to fit because of the position the moving parts last stopped in. I move the ‘post’ they slot onto with my fingers (with them unplugged of course). Can you easily fit the first set back in? I’m pretty sure I have plastic and metal fitting blades.

Can you take pictures and send them to Lister to show them what the issue is?
