Lister Star Clippers, any good?

Hi,

I'm looking at buying my first pair of clippers, getting very confused! Are the Lister Star ones any good? I like the fact they are lightweight. Or if anyone else has any suggestions? Max £200 budget please!

They are brilliant Clippers- I've had a pair for the last 2 years and they easily full clip 2 large horses one after another, no over heating, lightweight and v user friendly, oh and the blades last for ages without resharpening too.

Previously I've owned Heineger (which were ok clippers) and Hauptners (hated them!), but the Listers have been much better!

I bought mine from Scats when they were on offer for £180.00, so may be worth shopping around!

I love mine, they are brilliant clippers.

Really nice to use, dont overheat and not too noisy

ETS got mine off ebay new for £190 from one of the big ebay shops.

I love mine and they cope very well with a coarse coated coloured cob that needs clipping and hogging every 5 weeks - all year round!
