Litter of rare pups

not my type of dog, anything with rarity slapped on it usually ends up being churned out if people think they can make some quick and easy money.

£13,000 wonder what the tax on that will be.... ;)

Ah,the puppies are cute-love the unusual 'splash' markings but don't like the adult coat:-/ Also, what's that they say about owners looking like their dogs...?? ;)

Huh?! There are estimated to be 30 in the country. The owner has refused to have a litter with her other bitch due to medical issues (presumably unsatisfactory health tests). She's hardly 'churning them out'. What a stupid thing to say! She's hardly a puppy farmer breeding crazily named cross breeds!

must admit i would struggle not to brush that coat through and attempt to demat, so wrong I know., but i don;t do dreadlocks :) And i agree, hardly a puppy farmer, a rare breed dog, with only 30 in the country!

how come i read what Horseloaner wrote as - now people have seen this they will be going out getting the rare breeds to make money from ... not as most people have read it *scratches head*

I love them I think they look well cool, too much like hard work for me tho, I like my wash and go dogs lol

I think that it shows dedication to the breed, that although that rare, the pups are only £1000. That seems to be the going rate for many, more common breeds and I won't even start on unhealth tested crosses with cutesy names....

It weaves through itself naturally, impossible to comb. They're called maps. The girl who bought one of the pups has three adults, amazing looking.

Pups are so cute. I couldn't cope with that hair though. I'd be tempted to clip it all off.

(There's a reason both of my yorkies are kept short!)

Aww how are you supposed to give them a good old scratch with that hair?

Reminds me of a an episode of an American animal rescue show. A man had a Komondor Dog and animal welfare were called as people thought the dog was being neglected. Don't think I could live with those dreads though!

I saw one at Discover Dogs,it`s dreads had been shortened to about three inches, but quite honestly it looked like a dirty floor mop.Bet they blooming honk!:)
