So, we started lunging LC a couple of days ago.

He was very good - remembered all the voice commands, worked very well :D, including being a cheeky bobbo, which was funny and nothing very naughty. In fact, considering that he hasn't been worked for nearly two years, he was brilliant!

Today D1 got on him, bareback :D

I lunged, giving the voice commands and backing up with the lunge whip (he just needs a tickle sometimes), and D1 worked legs and seat.

After about ten minutes with a few transitions, we determined that he remembers Walk, Canter, Whoa, but Trot was missing. A few more goes of D1 asking (voice, seat and legs) with me backing her up, and LC got it! :D

We called it a day then. He'd done so well and D1 had ridden so sympathetically, it was lovely to see :D.

I have a video, just need to try and get it onto Photobucket.

Thank you folks :D

He was overtracking well, so was chuffed :D

His canter when he was back in the field was wide again :(, but at least it was three time :)

We'll keep it up and see what the vet says when he comes out.
