Anyone else have a little dude with a big attitude?
Monty, our 11.2 welsh A has the biggest attitude out of all of mine! (2 welsh D's and a 17.2 2yr old!)
Just wondered who else had one lol!

Haha, he does look like a funky pony! At the riding school we have a Monty who is oddly also a Welsh A, he's 11hh and he's awesome.

He tries to fight with his 14.2hh lookalike over the fence, and he can be a right bugger (I've never felt guiltier than the time I walked behind him to try and make him move because he was napping, and he kicked both heels up in an attempt to double-barrel me while there was a four year old on his back

I felt really bad, she cried!) but he's soooo cute that it's quite difficult to stay cross with him for long, and he'd never dream of hurting any of the kids. (Although he knows when he's got someone on him who's not scared of a bit of fun, and he can do an impressive rodeo impression with the right person giggling away on his back!).

Too cute!

Mine is bigger than yours, but not as big as he thinks he is!

My 14hh thinks he's at least 18.2 and completely rules the roost, the only one that ever stands up to him is my WB. Even my 16.3 ISH is scared of him.

He has survived getting caught in a fence & suffering shock, hypothermia and an eye so badly ulcerated we thought he would lose it. we had to get the fire brigade to cut him out the fence & I seriously thought I was going to lose him that day.

We sold him once but bought him back when new owners couldn't cope, give him a mm & he'll take a mile!

He demolished a full wall of my brick stables in November & has squared up to a tractor & a Scottish Power truck (was just talking about that earlier actually!) His nick names are Tank & Obnoxious Pony!

Butter wouldn't melt though:

Little man syndrome!

I have one like that, except he's not allowed to square up to the bigger horses as they could quite easily kill him with a well aimed, or even playful, hoof. So, he makes do with pestering weanlings and his goat.

OP, nicely captured action shots of Monty there, and he brushes up very nicely for the showring doesn't he? He has also perfected the 'butter wouldn't melt' look I see!
