Hello everyone!
Thought i'd do a brief update.
My life has been turned upside down once again and at particularly short notice i've upped sticks from my home in Leicestershire and moved back to Worcestershire and back in with my mum. So 2 years after leaving home for Oxford, then subsequently up to Leicestershire we're back home!
Pretty sad, left behind good friends a nice home and a lovely yard - but i'm positive it will all work out.
I've moved Major onto a yard close to home and i must say it's lovely having facilities again. Having concrete in front of the stables, being indoors and most of all having an arena.
Since Major's KS treatment last year i've not been on a yard with a school, and whilst the hacking and hillwork have done great things for him and at the time were the right thing for him i was really starting to feel like we needed to start progressing again (had KS treatment in June, re started work in September). Schooled for 20 minutes tonight, and gosh what a mess we are - both as bad as each other i think!
I've forgotten how to ride a corner, in fact i've forgotten how to ride full stop. In all honesty he was wonderful and tried his heart out as usual, it just all felt like hard work on my part!
I'm sure it will come though - we certainly have plenty to work on. Here are a few snaps of him over the last few weeks and then schooling today (he moved on Sunday).
