I am an all weather rider (although i don't bother hacking out if its really raining cats and dogs if i can help it!!)
i normally wrap up in my great musto coat, full rambo waterproof fleece lined chaps, ice rider boots, thermals etc etc!! so apart from my hands i dont really feel the cold too much!!
My little niece (6yrs) is tiny and i can't find any good gear for her ?? [although hopefully will do at olympia next week]
She is desperate for some chaps like mine but i can't find any anywhere for kids!!
I dont want her to become a fair weather rider - and she has informed me that she will ride in all weathers and proved it a few weeks ago hacking out in the pouring rain with my coat on !! (i subsequently got a rotten cold!!!!)
Does anyone know where i can get good kids stuff?
a friend got her some fabulous winter muck boots from a cheap shop that i cant remember now!! at lakeside. they were £3 in sale and are amazing!!
Do your kids still go to the stables in terrible weather?? I have called off her riding once as i don't want her to get ill just for the sake of it
