I've had Lottie 6 months this week and it's like we've always had her!!! I simply adore her and she is really part of the family.
Some pics...
When I first got her...
Meeting the family...
And the neighbours...
And getting fat... (After she had her teeth done and could actually eat the rich rye grass meant for cattle
So she was put on a diet and then went lame. It started with a splint and then we think she compensated and became tight on the other shoulder. 2 lots of Physio later and she is sound and moving well. Her feet weren't the best and needed road work and in the end I moved her into part livery to free up more time for me to ride and its on a nice quiet lane to get her used to hsvking out.
She settled well at the new yard...
We went for our first hack...
The diet stepped up a bit...
And she made friends...
And went along for some x country schooling, even jumoing a couple of little logs!!!
Here she is today. She's going well in the school and I've got a lesson booked. We've also had her saddle adjusted and she's gone down 2 gullet sizes!!! Had a farrier whose also a trimmer out today and he's very pleased with her feet and her management overall.
I'm so pleased that I chose this pony to spend my grandma's inheritance on... I think she'd like Lottie very much and she makes me smile every day!!! Thanks to all who helped me choose Lottie and to those who have helped me since purchasing her. It's not been trouble free but it's been totally worth it!!!
I'm looking forward to a great summer with my pony!!
