Little Mattingley

it is popular but if you offer to do day before dressage or jump judge they day before they will normally squeeze you in!

Am planning to do little mattingley as my first BE event but on a day ticket - how high are the chances that i'll get balloted out? Is it quite a popular event?

Very very popular event! And a lovely event!

I am planning on taking mine to do the PN - I will probably use my May sticker for it!!

Am planning to enter too, but unable to do day before dressage or jump judge so fingers crossed I won't be balloted as will be my first event with new horse and really looking forward to it!

I think it is quite likely to get ballotes on a ticket - but maybe not dont know until you try I spose!!

I have a dilema in May as have LM and Borde Hill - both ballot!!

Which do I use sticker for!

Can you not do half a year membership? Mattingley have another one later on in the year.

Then you could enter maybe one more? And it would be worth the money and you get stickers.

Ive entered Mac for Poplar and Grt witch on tickets and already spent almost as mjuch as I would registering him for a full year! So have just registered him!!

Me too! Borde Hill is very close to home and a lovely course which I know very well, but LM is a fab course too, an earlier start to get there but a course I don't know so well so more exciting.....decisions, decisions!

Well I will hopefully be going to both - will have to have a look at how many each balloted last year and go from there!

Dont know why but I always seem to have a bad time @ Borde Hill! Just one of those events! XC course is lovely though - have different horses this year so hopefully will be a good event for me!

And yes LM is lovely to, very nicely run! I have a 1 1/2 journey to both - maybe a bit longer to LM

Mattingley is 18th-20th May. The next one is called Little Mattingley as they dont hold a Novice and is 28th & 29th July.

Borde Hill is 27th & 28th May

Ooh - I'm hoping to go to Mattingley for the first time this year, if I can pluck up the courage to drive there!!
Went with a friend 2 yrs ago to help, and thought it was a lovely place. Anyone else going from Kent/E. Sussex area?
