Thought I'd post a little update as he hasn't had his own thread for a while!

Mostly he's been doing absolutely nothing, which is really why I've had nothing to update :D

But they've had to stay in this week (the fields are beyond wet now) so to keep him sane I've started doing a few bits and bobs with him again. He's done some ground work, had a bath, had his first ride and lead, been out on the road for the first time, been over some poles in the school (single pole then 2 poles as trot poles), trotted over a raised pole, learnt to trot in hand.... And other baby horse activities!

As always he's been a total angel, not put a little white hoof out of line, he is a mature head on young shoulders and surprises me everyday with how well he takes to everything. He is the friendliest kindest boy I've ever met, he is genuinely amazing. I love him to bits (can you tell? ).

Here are some photos I took of him yesterday, he isn't always this clean he had a bath on Monday then has been in! I think he has grown too :D

Lovely pics! Well done for the ride and lead. Not sure my ex-racer would be too good at that!!

I own the laziest, most laid back ex-racehorse you'd ever meet though, he wasn't in the slightest bit bothered :D

Joulsey - I really hope he does I'd like him to make 15hh, he's about 14.2 now as a rough guess.

Hes a real little cracker. 4 white socks, blaze, chestnut and a flaxen mane. Pretty sure he's what I ordered as a little girl ( many moons ago)

You are going to have so much fun on him.

Thank you everyone, I'm glad it's not just me who thinks he's gorgeous :D

He's exactly what I ordered, it's the sole reason I've got him as I wasn't looking but he caught my eye purely because of his colour! Obviously not the only reason I bought him but I can say 100% I'd of carried on scrolling if he'd been bay!

Always wanted a D, chestnut with socks and flaxen mane and tail :D

I have to say, I'm not usually a fan of Welsh D's. However I think you have converted me.
He is gorgeous!
I love seeing photos of your ex racer too, he is just my type.

Thank you, he is a lovely boy. He has a bit of work to do before he is quite as adored as Major (i'm not afraid to admit a preference between fur babies ;) )

Little photo of Major for you :D
