It's a colt. He is tiny and definitely looks to be homozygous just like his Mom. Going back to the barn but I'll update you in a little while. One leg was completely turned back but Wes got it straightened out.
Yes; I'm not concerned. She's fine and is taking it all in her stride. Cloud is a chilled girl - she doesn't rush things. I've been watching her for about 20 mins at a time every hour of so throughout the past couple of nights, so I am now fairly familiar with what she gets up to. It's interesting watching her as she doesn't behave like she does during the day.
Last night was quirky though - the lights in her barn come on and go off automatically and I was watching her from my duvet
at 4am, then I dozed off again and when I woke it was 5.30am, pitch dark!! The darned timer had switched them off early and I was peering out of the window to see if there was one grey pony standing ..... and was there anything else in that barn. Nope there wasn't and yes the timer has been sorted for tonights watch.
