Little pony at the vets

I took my mini shetland to the vets this morning. I think he has dislocated his jaw. The vet was going to sedate and xray him. I am waiting for her to phone and tell me what is wrong with him just hoping that its nothing too bad. He could do with some good vibes please.

Vibes and hugs on their way. I hope it's nothing too serious and he's not in too much pain

He just looked miserable, not eating (that's how we knew something was wrong). He will let you touch one side of his face but not the other.

The cob may have kicked him the two shetlands got into one stable when I was mucking out and Fallon followed them in and chased them out. She has been known to kick, although I didnt see her kick him

It might be worth checking for mouth ulcers - sounds very similar to my shetland and he was found to have a huge sore inside his mouth - teeth were rasped and hey presto he was back to normal!

The vet has just phoned large haematoma phew (guess whos not insured
