A client of mine is getting desperate to sell a pony that I am re-schooling for her, I'm so tempted to buy her as I think she'd make a lovely pony with some work, but realistically it wouldn't be sensible, I have three already, and I'm in the process of selling one.

The poor little mare loves to work, and is coming along really nicely (I only see her once a week though). She is a wary pony, but has come on leaps and bounds, I can actually treat her a bit more normally, rather than having to make any action in slow-mo. She's only 5, and had a bit of a rough start. She just needs some one-to-one with someone and some tlc. She's not used to traffic, but again has come on so well and we can hack out on our own now, she just has a look at cars.

ARGH, my mom actually thinks it's a good idea (she has a heart attack every time I buy a horse usually), so does one of my friends (who's opinion I hold highly). I have a feeling she's gonna end up at leominster sales if she's not sold soon too. ARGH. I just think that she would come really nice if she had the work done consistently, she's got templedruid lines and is an attractive pony, would show easily. My buisiness and personal life don't ususaly conflict like this, but the pony really tugs at my heart strings!

If I did buy her, I'd be taking her to sell on, as the lady is only asking £300 inc tack and rugs. To buy or not to buy. The market is crap though atm....Gr

Anyone know of anyone looking? Or any REPUTABLE private dealers, who take on ponies to school and sell on?

£300 is that all? How big is she?

If I was you I'd buy her if I really believed that there was a market for her once schooled up (and believed that she could over come her nervousness), providing that i could look after her in the mean time untill she was sold. How much would you be looking to sell her for afterwards?

I've had a talk with my y/o, and I think I'm gonna go for it.

My friend wants to go halves with me on her too, which is brill :)

Going to speak to owner later in the week!

SOMEONE PLEASE STOP ME BUYING ALL THESE HORSES.
