Little pride of the fens cocker spaniel

I am trying to find out where a cocker spaniel has come from.
Little pride of the fens is suppose to be his registered name but I cannot find any info online.
I just wondered if anyone may have any details on breeders or kennel s that may use this name?

I have tried on the kennel club page and can't find the dog on there

There's a dog registered under that name on https://www.mykc.org.uk, born June 2016, you can see pedigree information there.

I've checked with the Cocker Database and can't find any mention of your dog. I did though find a bitch called Little Princess Pride (2004) and I'm wondering if she appears in your dog's pedigree.

Generally, when the word 'Of' appears, it's my understanding that it's because the person who registered the dog wasn't the breeder. Otherwise, I'm probably not much help, sorry!

There is a dog of that name on My KC Alec as Black Cob has said above , his breeder doesn't appear to have an affix which is why the Of is used I suspect. Little Princess Pride is also on My KC but doesn't appear to be related, but again it is time consuming to trace all they way back without affixes.

I know it's a big generalisation but generic names like that are generally a red flag and as mentioned dogs with no affix are a pain in the bum to research.

Can someone tell me in what circumstances the KCs generic annual affix is used? Is it optional?

I think you can ask to use it (and no doubt pay for it) if you want to register a litter under an affix. There is more than one KC one I think.

Hi all sorry for not getting back sooner, the dog is not mine I just was trying to do some research on him for other reasons and no not anything to do with breeding. I have not had any real joy on getting more info on him but appreciate everyone's time and opinions.
