I would like to have a mini rant. My yard owner and very bestest chum was poorly today, I'm not surprised she has 11 horses including my 2 to do every day, 2 children under 5 and a completely useless lazy layabout of a boyfriend who does nothing.
Today, as she was ill. she asked him to see to the horses for her. A close mutual friend who helps out was then going to arrive around 3pm to excercise as many of the ponies as possible for her. She arrived to find uselss lazy sod asleep in the barn, not one of the 11 boxes mucked out. She then set about doing this, he wandered around aimlessly, filled a few water trugs up, then i arrived at 4.30 after work.
The thing that has really really annoyed me, is that he, while filling water, took it upon himself to squirt my horse with the horse on full blast as she grazed nearby not just quickly but held the hose aimed at her, even when she jumped out of her skin ( she was not rugged). She is a very easily stressed mare anyway, and she shot off across the field like a rocket, then spent 15 minutes running around in the slippery mud before she calmed enough to catch her and lead her in to her stable. She was soaked from the hose on her hindquarters, sweaty under her belly, and came in on her toes refusing to walk past the hose. I spent almost the whole of July trying to conquor her fear of a hose pipe so that i could hose her off afer a ride with no fuss. I needed to see to her eye, which has been sore any puffy and needs drops, could hardly manage as she was so tense and would not stand still. he was laughing his head off, and thought the whole thing was hilarious. Some people are unbelieveable.

Rant over. Sorry, feel better now it is out......and breathe!

You should have stuck that hose up his .... where the sun won't shine!

Stupid idiot

What an awful thing for him to have done - both to his girlfriend and the horse.

Why doesn't she just employ someone, rather than relying on a useless waste of space.......??

She does know he is a waste of space..........hopefully he won't be around much longer.

Think i may have to bring my 6 foot 7 rugby playing husband to the yard with me tomorrow, strangly the moron does not try any 'Hilarious" jokes when he is around

I will next time. It's almost as funny as when he snuck the electric fencing tape into my jeans pocket then turned the electic on while i was talking to the farrier. The farrier gave him such a withering look when it zapped me but he still though it was hysterical! such a plank.

god I would have gone off my head with him...and stuck the hose up his.....err rear end!
How pathetic...how old is he...5? blimey what does Yo see in him then cant be his brains..what a plank I'd certainly be speaking to YO about his behaviour today thats just uncalled for lazy ar$e.

Hope all your work with trying to get your mare used to the hose hasn't just been washed away - so to speak.

xx

Wrap the leccy tape round his bollocks and connect it to the mains, I detest these types, I bet when the tables are turned he is a mardy whining git

Get the tape connected to him, soak him with the hose, switch the power on...

Hm. I think that what he did to you counts as GBH, or ABH at the very least.

I have to say, I'd be concerned if he were anywhere near my horses

. If he's about to get the boot, I'd lock everything away and sit guard on my horse.

Hugs hun.

Mate or no mate, I wouldn't be paying money to be at that yard.

Have to agree. While there's a chance that this f***wit is anywhere near you horses, I'd be telling the 'mate' to either keep him away, get rid, or say goodbye to your livery fees. What on earth is she doing with such a 'man' (used in the biological sense only, which can be solved by the leccie tape suggestion above)?

That's awful! After spending so much time getting her over her hose fear and he mucks it up in 5 mins. I'd be crying by now I think, well done you for not losing your temper and doing something you may have regretted! I certainly would have! (though I don't think putting poo in his mouth, electrocuting him or 'accidentally' stabbing him with a pitchfork count as things you would regret so help yourself

Thanks guys......at least i know i wasnt being over sensitive!!! He is a moron. When my friend is better i am going to fill her in, but while she is so poorly i want her to rest up and get better rather than coming up to the stables because if i tell her she will be there doing it all herself before she is better. Thankfully it is half term after tomorrow so i can be there all day every day and can do the horses for her if need be.

Thanks for all your suggestions for revenge though - i might try some of them
