He went out to play today. :)

YO's daughter went to do the 2' clear round. Sadly we got there a little late, and they put them up on the hour regardless, so she'd already bought a ticket and had to do the 2'3. Well, she watched them put it up as she was waiting to go in and went green. She jumped the first few brilliantly, then ran out of nerves. Easy to forgive since this is only her 3rd time jumping him and her second course ever!

However, 3 months ago (and 1 day!) pony looked like this :

If anyone had told me he'd be out and looking like this today I'd have laughed.

beautiful looking pony now, you've done wonders for him - well done!! Long may it continue. Just as an ask as mine is struggling with her back end gaining weight and muscle,...hoe did you do it?
 
Aww what a lovely, quick turn around :) he's looking like he has a new lease of life. Well done to you for helping him.
 
Thank you all, he's such a cutie! Proper pony this one, with just enough cheek to make you laugh rather than talk about burgers. :)

The grass growing helps!! But Allan & Page weight gain gives the energy to go in. And he's worked little and often every other day with a longer hack at the weekend. His fields on a bit of a hill with the decent grass at the bottom and the water at the top which really helps.

We're still being very, very careful with rugging him. In the rain, though it wasn't that cold he dropped off a little bit, so was back to being in at night.

I think he'll be a very good doer when he's back up to proper weight though given how well he's looking now!
