After very sweetly being passed some internet super glue on friday, it proved that this weekend i needed it
Exercised other gg both friday pm and Sat am and he was a loon but on sat morning we could hear hound speaking, which just blew his one brain cell but also it didn't help as i was checking out new laid hedges and where was best place to jump!!!, so after this happy morning exercise had to get other one ready for RC Area, which went lovely and smooth.
Drove to Hartpury in green goddess(lorry) in love time.... never seen in day light and boy, it's a beautiful set up....
Got in to lorry park and welcomed by friends who said ooooo got to walk course as No1 and No2 are really boggie fences etc... Had look at course and it was a lovely kind course but defo fence 2 was proving sticky?... So walked course at break and couldn't workout why so me think arr well i'll just wait see and just ride calmly.
After a quiet warm up mine turn to go for Team. Begining part of course we defo had a wobbled but got a GRR! and and Good boy then 3,4,5 ok and ping martingale broke!!!!! ERRRRRRRRRRRR flappy thing, with not looking at fences
, i don't know how we managed it but got round clear
so very very chuffed as i thought i was going to heard bell and then get the big E
Our team then put in other 2 clears plus an 8 faulter, so drop one score, we on a clear. MMMmmmm nearly 3 1/2hours later we warmed up for next round and this time i couldn' t calm him down
so gave up on idea of jumping and just ended walking around, thinking 'O sh1t, what will be, will be'
But to my surprise as soon as we got into arena 'Hot Ass' disappeared he went beautifully until combination and rider saw stride and horse didn't
and very nearly out plate, but being a sweetie he fogave me and jumped next two without problem!! so had 4 faulter. Then other team members had 2 clears and another 4 faulter, so finished with total of 4 faults, which had put us into placings.
In end they decided placing was going to go, on timing so we didn't have to wait for JO (thank god) as i don't think my brain was up to it! and it was also getting very late and horses had been brilliant and chilled allday.
So thanks for reading and if anyone on my area want to give a good kick up the bum and get my arse out jumping more before i BE please shout, as i can't hide any more and it's a case of practise, prastice and guess wot a bit more prastice
