It's a little silly but feel proud today! Have been riding for nearly two years and had a loan for a year. To nervous usually to ride out on my own but today decided that riding round an arena is not just dull for me!
So I opened the yard gate and walked my horse down the lane it's about 10 mins... So small steps! Got to the end of the lane in control jumped on and rode back. It was wonderful! I know!! Sounds dumb but for me this is a big step and the road to the road!
I have had a glass of wine or two and feeling a little emotional! But I feel like after all this time or bond is forming and we are learning to trust one another finally!
