Little Stig gets scrubbed!

And boy he didn't want to make it easy!
He didnt like the hose to start with, so we filled a bucker and started again with a sponge, but nope he didnt like that either and did pogo pony again

On goes the shampoo, on goes the look of total disgust on his face, rinse off shampoo, go to get towel to dry his face off.
Come back to find wet soggy little stig rolling in the dirt, still atatched to his leadrope

Rinse off small ponio once again, pogo pony makes another reappearance, as does the look of disgust to his face.
So he is now clean (though who knows for how long!) and couldnt see any signs of nits which is good.
So a few pictures 1st one of last week, and some of today.
Anyone want to tell me if he really has filled out a little??

His spine was about an inch proud so although this still looks bad, he actually has put a bit on here, and over his rump.

He IS looking better already, and its great that he has enough sparkle and energy to pogo around in disgust.

I think you are wonderful for all you are doing for him, he is a lucky ponio to have found his way in to your heart.

Well done you, he certainly is picking up. He doesn't want to put on weight too quickly so I would say carry on as you have been. Poor little mite, I bet he will make a really smashing little pony when he's all better and grown up. Will look forward to his progress.

Yes he is looking better, you want him to gain the weight slowly, but that is an improvement and so glad he has the energy to be cheeky!!!

Pogo-ing seems to be his way of telling you just how disgusted he is

I shall endevour to get video of him pogo-ing ASAP!
(wont be too hard, I will probably only have to show him the hose....)

The difference is more in how bright he looks
They have to put the condition on inside before the outside and I would be worried if he gained too quickly as his frame needs to get stronger to carry the extra weight.

I read this post and had to look back through your old posts to find out that he was the basis of the franch rant post I read a week ago - what an amazing difference already, unrecognisable from the matted pone (who I thought was actually a donk!) a week ago.
