Little Update on Castle...

I brought a friend's mare out hunting today, and D was out and said that Castle had already settled in really well in his new home

The little girl rode him yesterday evening and jumped him over a few little crosspoles, barrels etc. and he was a star for her. She didn't come out hunting today, but D said she's hoping to come out sometime in the next few weeks. I'm so pleased he's looking after her so well so far, she's very novicey and quite a nervous rider and I'm sure he'll teach her so much *Sniff*

I am getting quite choked up myself, hearing this, and of course it's very bittersweet for you. He is a gem of a pony, no mistake, and you are rightly proud of him. I am so glad he has found a home that will love and appreciate him.

You know, he really is such a special little chap, and it must be such a wrench for you to let him go, but I'm sure he'll be adored in his new home, and atleast you'll still see him out and about doing what he does best.
