Last night I was in bed, on the verge of going to bed, when I heard Mum scream. Thinking the worst I shot up (headrush!) and legged it downstairs. The reason for her scream? Bradley... cute, innocent little Bradley... had brought in a new toy.

A frog.

He found it great that his new toy jumped and moved about! Fortunately we managed to get Mr Frog out of the house without him being munched.

Can you believe that this cute little puppy would do such a thing?

So.. what have your dogs brought in? :D

I think you made that one up, he doesn't look anywhere near naughty enough to do such a thing.

My old Lab used to spend hours hanging his head over the garden pond catching frogs, you knew he had one by the legs dangling out of his mouth! He never hurt them, just carried them around for a while, then got bored and let them go!

Glad yours escaped unscathed too.

Mine does bring things in (they eat gross things when I'm not looking instead) but they'll play with whatever the cats bring in alive/eat what they bring in dead.

Mine likes to bring in worms and run behind the chair so you can't get it off her, she likes anything that moves and trys to dig things out of the cracks in the patio. When we first had her we had a bench against the wall between the gardens, she jumped on it cleared the wall and got a baby black bird, I went to get it off her and she ran in our house with it, I managed to get it from her but it must have died of a heart attack, there were no puncture wounds, we moved the bench !

I can believe that Goldies are the same!! :)
However, my Goldie does find ants fascinating...not that she brings them into the house but in summer you can sit and watch her blot them up with her tongue! The GSD chases bees quite vigorously :o god forbid she ever catches one!!
