shame about Michael but Ellen must be pleased so far she has only picked up time penalties as such so far and in good position going on to tomorrow at the moment. And David aint doing half bad either!!
and it is nice to see a lesser known team like norway doing so well instead of say France - plus - even bigger yipppeeeeee - the Germans didn't get gold - hehehehehehe
The Euros are over three rounds for the teams on three days.
Day one is speed leg, 4 secs for a knockdown. Everyone's time divided by two then penalties given according to how far away from quickest they were. Eg winner gets 0. someone 2 seconds slower after time halved will receive 1 penalty and so on.
Yesterday they jumped one standard round and today they did the same. one discard from every round for each team (presuming 4 riders) though not necessarily same rider each round. Top 10 teams came forward to today from yesterday.
Top 25 individuals will now go forward to Sunday's final for the individual medals
