Hi guys
My dog Barney is 14 years old, rather stiff generally getting old and last week he walked the XC with me giving up 3/4 the way around then the next day did not want to eat, blamed myself for letting him over do it
Dad then dropped a bit of food on the floor and Barney stood over it drooling but could not bend down, lifted the food up and he ate as normal.
As he was no better over the weekend, took him to the vets tonight and he did a full exam
Arthritic neck, lumber and right fore and bloods were taken for the liver to see if he could be medicated
Some reading which should be between 200 and 400 was 1400
I was already home by this stage and Barn had Metacam and Diazapan (sp) for now and has to go back thur
Has anyone experienced this?
Thanks, I'm rather shocked and poor Barn is snoozing dreaming of Bones besides me
