Hi everyone!
My horse has been really itchy recently and she always has been coming in to/during the winter; she gets itchy in the summer but not nearly as much, and so I really doubt it's sweet itch and she never rubs anything off either. She gets a lot of guard hairs and her coat is much rougher in the winter as well.
I know some people are skeptical... And I was too until I tried it but I had an animal communicator up a couple of weeks ago just for general stuff and one of the things he mentioned was that shes quite 'livery' which is making her itchy and suggested a liver cleanse. Can anyone recommend a good one? Or if they actually work? My horse is an Irish cob mare, roughly 7-8 years old.
Currently feeding - scoop of hifi lite, small scoop of NAF General purpose supplement, small scoop of micronised linseed (does wonders for her coat) twice a day and a large handful of pony nuts in the evening as well
Any help really appreciated!
Thanks
Sophie
