liverpool wood pellets - delivery issues?

I normally get mine from corley's but thought i would try Liverpool pellets as they are slightly cheap ! but something tells me that i should of stayed with corleys after reading these post's? as they always deliver in two working days ! And at the moment Ive not heard as to when my order will be with me from Liverpool pellets ?

as title really, i have ordered last week a tonne of pellets from the above and am still waiting ! :-( has anyone else used them and if so were they ok for delivery,

they said they should have been delivered today when i rang yesterday, but today when they still hadnt arived i rang them and they say they should be with me on monday - i'm not convinced -

whats everyone elses experience - is it just the pre christmas rush??

any update OP?

Hi

I use LWP and have never had a problem with delivery, i ordered a pallet load just before xmas and they arrived when they said they would. I love the bedding and would never use anything else now.

So how long does it take normally for them to deliver ? (when the weather is OK)
as corley's does it (well with me) 2 working days! This is my first order with them and i really want to have confidants in LWPS and don't want to start having to chase them up for my order ! I can fully understand when we had all this snow that it was very hard for deliveries to be delivered !

sorry for the delay in the requested update, i've been struggling with the flu !!

i fetched my delivery from the transport companies depot in the end, it seemed the best option given the situation with the weather. i really did need the bedding, so didnt care that i had paid for delivery. the guys at the depot were very helpfull and gave me a hand to load the bags into my trailer, we had to load them one by one ! the companies yard was actually more icy and full of snow than the lane they had refused to drive down, but it was their decision as to whether they drove at all in the snow.

I'm sort of happy with the bedding, but not sure if its all quite as dusty as the bedding i have, i did buy the economy pellets so perhaps thats the solution, buy the premium ones in future.

are the ones from other suppliers better to use??? they all advertise they are white wood but the LWP economy pellets apparently have bark etc in with them. does anyone know if this is the same for the competitors??

i'm possibly due to re order at the end of jan, if not slightly before, so want to put an order in within the next week to make sure i dont run out again !!

look forward to any users replies

I have now received my order of wood pellets and I must admit that once I actually managed to get in touch with LWP they were very helpful and sorted my order out immediately.

I ordered Premium pellets this time which are much better than the economy ones I ordered last time and not much difference in price.

we ordered some few months ago, said deliver monday so we took time off to accept them, called to check mon and said yep on way. eventually arrived friday and they said theyd leave them in designated place as i was having a riding lesson, sadly the driver refused and i had to cancel lesson which had to pay for as was just starting it and me and riding instructor had to help him unload. NOT impressed. annax
