Just bought LWP for the first time (I use whoever sell pellets cheapest). I did the online transaction before my night shift last night and the pellets were delivered this afternoon

!

No hassle or problems and via Paypal I didn't even need to get off my couch to find my Visa card

Will use them exclusively from now on

I ordered from them and was really unimpressed with the quality of them, but everyone else seems to rave about them, maybe I got the wrong ones?

I was a bit naughty and got the ones excluding VAT and said that they were for fuel, which made them cheaper. Did I make a mistake doing that and buy sub-standard ones maybe? Are the ones for horses made with whiter wood? Mine just seemed so dark and broken down far quicker than others I have used.

I use some from a local place, Fearnley Contract Services, they call them FCS bednuts. They are MUCH better. You can't get them as cheaply, but I suppose you get what you pay for?

Have you used both? Why did you choose them? I need to find a new supplier as I am relocating and will be too far away from my current supplier...

Yep have used both. The 1st load I had came from LWP - several split bags (the bags don't seem very strong) and they sent 15kg even though I ordered 10kg bags. Corley thus far have been brilliant, fast friendly service, no split bags (bags stronger), thus can store outside with no problem. Send what I order (i.e. right size bags) and deliver when they say. They have also either been equal or cheaper than LWP (I order a tonne at a time). Have had three orders from Corley so far.

I had my first delivery from LWP - they took the order and my money and told me they would deliver them in 2 days. 12 days later i was still chasing them after being promised 3 different delivery days - it turned out they had gone out of stock. I tired to cancel my order and asked for a refund but they refused still lying abiout delivery. If they had told the truth it would have been ok and i could have got more shavings in. When they finally arrived they sent 15kg bags instead of the 10kg bags I ordered.

Since then I have ordered from Corley - only take your money when they dispatch your pellets and they arrive the next day and they deliver what you order - and they are the same price as LWP.

Hi Oberon - Thanks, we aim to please.

Slinky - I think you will find that we are a lot cheaper than Corley fo rexactly the same pellet.

Perryhillbay - There is a difference in colour between the economy and the premium, but the economy pellets are only 205 per tonne plus vat, if you want a whiter bed you need to order the premiums. Get in touch and we will send you a sample bag of our premiums.

I've been using wood pellets since August and have finally reached the point where I am happy with what I am getting and how to do the beds (one of mine invites a herd of elephants round each night for a party and then they all do Riverdance :D).

Started with White Horse Bedding, then Liverpool now Corley. The price has gone down with each new supplier I've found, and the quality up. Service has been good from all three companies.
