Hi,
Sorry in advance if I have posted this in the wrong section!
I am now in the lucky position where I can once again have a horse in my life, I sold my last one 6 years ago due to marriage and commitments. The husband is now an ex and my working commitments have changed to give me far more flexibility that i had 6 years ago.
So I am after some advice from anyone that would be kind enough to help me:
1. I live and work in Birmingham city center and would like to find a livery yard that is no more than 45 mins drive away (outside of rush hour). I will need to have the option of part livery aswell on the yard, along with it having at least an our door arena. Does anyone know of any yards and what sort of cost would I be looking at for part livery service including basics hay/haylage and straw?
2. At the moment I am holding off 'horse hunting' until I have found a livery yard....is this a sensible thing to do? I realise I might have to pay to reserve my place at a yard.
Many thanks
michelle
