I am starting at Hartpury in 4 weeks. (Mature/Old student)

My husband is interviewing with companies in the Bristol, Swindon, Cheltenham area. Until he has a job our "base" is Swansea. I need temporary (maybe for a month) accommodation for me and my mare. We have a caravan, so a camp site would be good. I do need somewhere to put my mare, the closer to me the better.

Does anyone have any ideas/recommendations?

There are lots of livery yards around Hartpury - try phoning the college and ask for the person who deals with the actual Hartpury liveries. They have a list of local yards for the excess, which they will share with you.
I am not so sure about camping and caravanning sites - maybe you could phone Glos tourist board (Newent, Staunton, Redmarley, Ashleworth are also close by) to see if they can give you a hand?

billow farm near dursley have often rented out rooms of the farmhouse to people who livery there. they also have a holiday cottage which they have rented out on a long term basis over the winter period before. May also consider a caravan... all this was a few years ago though so may have changed.

It's pretty much smack bang in the middle of bristol/gloucester/swansea/swindon. About 30 mins drive to hartpury, 20 mins to bristol, 1hr to swansea 1hr to swindon.
