Hello, does anyone know if there's a livery yard there? And if so have any info on it? facilities/price?
Looking round the South Oxon area to see what's out there...

thank you!

There is a really lovely livery yard there just off the nettlebed-watlington road, it's called Ewelme Park Stables and was run by a lady called Brigitte Chen (I assume she is still there). I knew it a few years back so things may have changed but when I knew it I was happy to send my horse there on loan.
Good all year grazing, nice stables, alarmed tackroom, common room, great hacking. It did have a school but it wasn't floodlit.
From memory it was quite pricey though.

I used to keep my horse at Ewelme Park! Lovely yard, as far as I know Brigitte is still there, I keep my horses back at my parents now about 3 miles from there, but would happily go back. I did hear there were a lot more kids there these days tho. Turnout is nice, a bit limited in winter but they always looked after the horses really well. School isn't floodlit, but hacking is fantastic!
There is another yard at Park Corner - the end of the drive to Ewelme Park - but that has always been seriously pricey and v dressage oriented, more for full schooling liveries than us mere mortals.
PM Me if I can help any more!

thanks Emma, sounds promising (trying not to get too excited already!!). I'm not far away but don't know that area very well so will go and explore and might PM you after that. Thx.

Cool. It is a really lovely area, I live no distance away really, about 2 miles as the crow flies. When I moved Tia home I hacked her back, ride through the yard (its on a bridleway) quite often.
Are you moving to the area?
Do pm me if you want.
