Sorry, not particularly CR but I thought some of you might know of some suitable livery yards. I work in York and live 5 miles west of Malton so am looking for livery between the two. I ideally would like livery 5 days a week (not to include riding) and DIY at the weekends, although I can be quite flexible. Must have an arena, everyday turn out and quiet hacking!

I event so it would be nice to be on a yard with other people who like to get out and about!

Any recommendations welcomed!

Thanks

I think there is one at Claxton - Run by Fulmart feeds as far as i know.

My friend has a stable to rent at her house (her horses are at home) she competes etc but i don't think it will be suitable if you want full livery in the week.

I have driven past the one at fulmart feeds and it look nice as far as i could see...

Forgot to ask, i am not far from you - where do you do your XC schooling, fitness work etc - we are really struggling to find places to go at the moment, for schooling, hacking etc - we always end up going to Escrick part as its the only place we can find that is open at the moment!

Thanks! I have conections with the claxton yard through work so wouldn't want to mix business with pleasure! And i think they are only DIY. Location wise it is perfect whihc is really annoying!

I have really good hacking where i am at the moment with lots of hills and bridleways (can PM details if needs be) so that takes care of the fitness work! For xc i go the thornthorpe equestrian, helen bells, thronton lodge and northallerton. I also make the most of the schooling days at richmond, camp hill and thornton watlass after thier events. Depending on where you are based, there is also the place at Howden. I cna't remember what it is called. I have never been but heard it is good!

If you want to do canter work, there are the gallops at the GG centre and also some in Brandsby you can hire.

where abouts are you?
