I have a pony which is currently available to loan and some people in my village have expressed an interest in taking her on but keeping her with me. How much would I charge for assisted DIY livery including hay and straw and use of 40 x 20 school (floodlit), all year turnout and stable with rubber matting. I would assist by turning out and bringing in every day, changing rugs in winter, doing fly spray/sun cream in summer and doing late night hay top up.

Well I pay £17 per week for DIY livery which includes a stable and turnout, use of a floodlit rubber arena and jumps and also a small indoor exercise area.

In the winter I usually end up paying about £30 per week when I take into account bedding and hay and feed.

So I would suggest £35-£40 if you are going to be doing some of the turnout and getting in.

I pay £100 per calendar month plus hay and straw, turnout etc. That is for 4 outdoor schools, 1 indoor, jumping field, xc courses, all within 1500 acres of hacking.

I would say around £40 p/w taking into account £1 for every turnout/bringing in £2 for rug change and hay top up etc etc.
