We were moving house but have decided to stay put for another year at least. Anyway my horse has been diagnosed with hock arthritis and vet has advised we move to another yard with facilities eg menage, pref horsewalker but i know thats like hens teeth and off road hacking as we are limited with the amount of exercise we can give him where we are.

I had found somewhere to move him to but it fell through, Ive had a look in the usual places but nothings come up yet

Any ideas of places to try? would prefer a private yard as thats what im used to rather than riding school or very busy yard.

Are you looking for diy/part/full?

I'm at a brilliant yard in Borrowash...fantastic facilities, lovely liveries, lovely owners...really is the best yard I've been at. Tiny amount of roadwork to loads of off-road hacking...

They only offer full livery or weekend livery (which is full during the week and nearly full at the weekends!).

depends on your budget really. Where I keep mine we have nice big flootlit menages, turnout/lunge paddock, horse walker. 24 hour turnout through summer & day turnout in winter.

It's busy-ish but it's never heaving, depends on what time you go up. when i go about 6ish everyone who actually has a social life has normally been and gone, and the security is very good.

It's DIY with hay and straw included - haylage is also available.

hi i am in the process of moving to my new home in south wingfield which has a small yard. And am looking for part/ full liverys i only have 4 stables so nice and quite, we have good turnout and an outdoor school,we have some woods to ride in and other hacking is yet to be explored but have been told its very good.

I myself have had horses since i was 2 and am now 34 so your horse would be very well cared for 24 hours a day.

If this maybe what ur interested in please let me know
