Livery - how much do you pay?

DIY, with stables and unlimited grazing £15
Grazing along is £6
Very quiet yard, no rules, sort your own bedding, hay, feed etc
No facilities like an arena or anything but the gate does open onto the pennine bridal way to hacking doesnt get any better and we get no myther from the yard owner, not a bad deal in my opinion! 😎

I'm in NW pay £25pw yard ok, grazing ok but very restricted in winter and round here YO's think winter is 8 months long!!!!
So looking for suggestions for good livery yards around Manchester/Lancashire areas x

South Centralish.

On a private yard. Pony size stables and grazing. No arena or lunge pen but there is a riding field which is usable probably 8/9 months of the year. No running water, it comes from a well which is lovely but blimmin hard work. £100 per pony per month, which is more than the going rate but the yard is convenient for me.

Used to be on a livery yard with big Monarch boxes in barns, 60 x 50 outdoor arena, wash bays, lunge pen, some off road hacking. That was £140 per month.

£38 a week for stable, unlimited haylege, morning feeding, turnout and bring in, masses of grazing all year round, 2 outdoor schools, masses of off road riding and lorry parking included.
Shavings have to be bought from yard but at £9 for a huge bag that lasts most people a month it's a very good deal
I'm in East Yorkshire

£730 a month!!! Crazy prices down here, Hertfordshire. That's for part livery, daily turnout, outdoor ménage. Fortunately for my bank account, I'm in a share on that.
Places round here you could pay more at, too...also lots of people round here with more money than sense.

Wowsers!! 😱

Somerset £89/mth DIY plus £10/mth lorry parking and £11/mth for straw.
Haylage can be bought for £9/wk.
Ok 20x40 outdoor school. Daytime grazing in winter and 24/7 grazing in summer.
Can hack round the farm in summer and fairly good hacking otherwise.
No services offered.
No toilet and no tack to be stored on site (feed rooms only)

NE england £70 per week for livery, small outdoor lit school, grass school in the summer and full set of showjumps and some xc fences (and P2P fences if you're that way inclined)
Price includes 7 day mucking out, turnout, bring in, farrier/vet assistance, hay or haylage and bedding and basic feed, feeding and rug changing and trailer/lorry parking if needed, toilet, hot water and plenty of storage for rugs and the like, super YO's too :) Can also use the horse walker (extra cost) or have horse schooled/ridden/lunged and also a groom service which is fab as I hate pulling manes and plaiting (also extra).

Just read through this thread and feel a bit better about mine now! Just moved back to my old yard so £410 per month for 7 day full livery. Feed and haylage included, bedding extra but yard offers 3 types and bulk buys so passes savings on. Works out at around £450 per month. Good indoor and outdoor schools, great off road and local hacking (the reason I moved back), plenty of storage including secure tack room, walker, daily turnout but in over night which suits my chunky boy, good staff.

Love it because I know I can trust them to look after my boy if I can't get there, the people are great and my boy is happy there.
