Hi,

I'm looking for a livery yard in and around the Belper area (heading more towards Ripley/Heage/Denby due to work rather than towards Duffield/Derby).

Must have a menege, and regular turnout. Would ideally like somewhere that offers part livery or morning turnout, but I'm happy to have DIY or even full livery if the're no other options as facilities are main priority.

I can't find anything on google, and the few I have found either don't have vacancies or aren't suitable. So any help would be much appreciated :D

Probably beginning of October. My youngster is away for breaking next month, so I'm looking for somewhere for when I have her back.

Good luck it is a bit of a Black Hole for yards with GOOD facilities. Do you have a mare or gelding? There are a few that only take geldings and our place only has space for geldings at the moment. We have a floodlit indoor and outdoor within 10 minutes drive of Belper town centre.

They are few and far between around here.
I have a mare. Outdoor is a must for me, but an indoor would be lovely! The only one with an indoor that I can think of off the top of my head is Selston, and I'm sure I've heard there is one near Crich, but I have no idea where abouts.

I've heard there is a place in Crich too, I believe it is Heidi Critchlow's. Not sure where though and I haven't been. Problem is that many of the places the schools are horrible lumpy undrained sand. And I believe that neither the Whitehouse or the Lester's will take mares.

I've been lucky in the past to have had well maintained schools. But as you say there are plenty who don't look after them well. I'd ideally like to keep her on the yard where she is for breaking but unfortunately they have no room.

I haven't heard of Whitehouse or Lesters. After being on the same yard 6years I've lost track of what else is out there.
