Hey,

New to this forum in terms of actually posting, but i've been around observing for ages..

I'm based at Royal Holloway in Egham and was wondering whether anyone knew of any Livery yards close by? Im not driving at the moment so It'd be ideal if they were a train stop away or even walking distance..

Hurst Farm is the only one I know of xxx

Hi, there's one down Priest Hill (the road between Englefield Green and Old Windsor), or at least there always used to be. It's a while since I've been there though.

Used to live in Ascot and had friends who liveried around Egham way ... can't figure out walking distances/train stops but think there's a couple out Lyne way? Also, I used to use one near the Park in Ascot (very good) and another fantastic one out Chobham way. Although I may be completely off the mark with distances for you as this was a few years ago now and I drove everywhere so don't know how practical they are if you don't have transport at the moment.
Maybe try contacting some local houses with private yards too? If you've only got one horse they may be happy to have a bit of extra money to fill any spare stables they might have?

There's a few around the Green... otherwise you may have to go a bit farther afield. If you're living on campus then you won't have a car unless you're in Kingswood, do you have a bike?

The yard between Egham and Old Windsor was called Beaumont Farm and I think two ladies run a livery yard from there called Foxtrot Equestrian. It is easily accessible from Royal Holloway and you can hack in Windsor Park from there (if you buy a permit)

Thanks everyone! I'll be sure to contact Foxtrot Equestrian..

Do you know of anyone in the area with private stables?? that'd be extremely convenient!! xxx

Park View Equestrian- Blacknest Gate, is under new management and I have a few friends there that are very happy with the new team. They are literally on the park as well!

ETS they are 2min straight up the road from Royal Holloway
