Can anyone help? Due to boy friend probs ( dontya just love 'em) I may need to move my girl as I'll be moving back to East London. Love the Epping Forest riding and so would my girl, but I can't find anywhere with decent turnout. She is turned out daily and lives out full time in the Summer. Being in 24/7 will drive her mad, I know she won't "get used to it"!. Don't expect to get the same space as where we are now,( got 2 acres between 2) but can anyone help or point me in right direction ? Decent off road riding would be nice too !

Ohhh I know somewhere, I can't think of the name of the place, it's quite near to Romford, it's really annoying me. Sorry that's no help at all. I'll come back on this if I remember the name of it.

I went and saw nearly every livery yard in Essex (round the Epping Forest area) looking for decent winter turnout. It doesn't seem to exist!

There's Brownings Farm in Chigwell which isn't too far from Romford, it's near to Chigwell Park, but the hacking isn't near Epping Forest.

Harolds Park Farm is another, and there are various little yards round Nazeing and Broxbourne where you won't have the forest but there is still other hacking and a better chance of year round turnout.

There were a couple of yards on Sewardstone (I think) Road years ago, might be worth taking a drive round and seeing if they are still there?

It wasnt far to hack to Epping at all, just up Daws Hill and across Chingford Plane

I used to be at Picks Farm too! When were you there? It was a long time ago for me, about 20 years now.

I was there about 15 years ago, I used to share the little bay pony that reared called Molly, owned by Claudia

I didn't have my own but I shared a pony called Jet and I was always there with a girl I was friends with at the time, she had a horse called Mr Spock that was put down, and then she bought Zara and later Zero - both appaloosas. I also rode another one, I was with him for years even after I gave Jet up and I left Picks Farm to go to a yard in Waltham Abbey with this one, but I can't remember his name! It'll come back to me.

I remember Zara & Zero lol!

Cindy went through a stage of breeding them. Before that it was Welsh Cobs. Then she bred Llamas!!

My best friend is Kate, who had Goldie and Rozi - do you remember her? I bet she remembers Mr Spock.
