Livery in Gloucestershire

Lucky you it's a lovely part of the world. Spotted Cat - another member keeps her horse near Dursley at a great livery yard. Probably worth a PM.

Ooh Welcome. I was born in Berkeley Grew up in Dursley and now live just south of gloucester.

I know if you PM Teasel she does DIY at Wisloe which is in the right area and she could give you the low down.

I may be looking for a good DIY yard in the area soon depends on wether my 'Start a New Life' works out.

No use to you now as I see your in Texas but make a note in your Diary STROUD SADDLERY have a book of Livery Yards you can go in and scan through. I had a good look the other day but forgot my glasses.

Burrows Court Farm at North Nibley. (dont think they've got a website)

Burnt Ash Farm on Minchinhampton Common. http://www.burntashfarm.co.uk/

There are lots of riding clubs in the area as well - so maybe a good starting point for training. There is Berkeley Riding Club, Frampton Family Riding Club, Cotswold Edge Riding Club etc. etc. Have a look on the British Riding Clubs website.

How about Barton End - I learnt to ride their when i was like 4 untill i was 10. I know someone who has a horse on livery up there and they say it is great. Try and google it.
