I am desperately seeking infomation about a livery yard that is ment to be in a vilage called midridge which is just outside newton aycliffe in co. durham.
I have someone wanting me to school a 3yo for them but the yard im on at the moment is full to bursting point and other people wanting me to teach them off the yard im on, but outside riders are not aloud on the yard therefore i need to find another one ASAP!!
i was told there was one in midridge but dont know anyone who knows anything about it (the person who told me is now in germany, helpful). I need a livery or private yard where i could keep a horse possibly more than one at some point as close to newton aycliffe as possible.

Thanks a lot and please help me!!

Don't know yards around Newton Aycliffe - I'm further up the road in Durham. Its possible that the people running Thinford Saddlery at Spennymoor, just of the Thinford roundabout (opposite the side of the thinford pub) on the A167 might know. People in saddle shops get so much news and gossip don't they? If they don't know, they will probably be able to point you in the direction of someone who will.

Good luck

What a fantastic idea thank you so much, what is your yard in durham???

[/ QUOTE ] I'm on the Nicholson's estate near Chester le street. Very happy yard with 1200 acres of private off road hacking, but a bit of a drive from Newton Aycliffe I fear

I live in Newton Aycliffe and keep my horses in Heighinton. My yard is absolutely full but I know others with spaces.

There are yards in Heighington, Middridge, Walworth, Brafferton and Coatham Munderville.

Can get you info on them if you want.

oh please do, midridge and Heighington would be the best please, anything close to woodham realy, if you could find out asap that would be great thanks. im leaving in 20mins lol thanks

Hi just got back from my yard.

If you go through Heighington heading to walworth castle there is a yard there that 2 people have just left, so I know there are 2 spaces there. Its in walworth itself, would you like me to try and get the number for you?

There was a yard near the Gretna but they have lost the lease on the farm so that one has closed now.

I know another yard in Heighington but not sure if he is full, can get the number but it might be a few days.

Middridge there are a few yards there but I dont know the owners, you could ask in the Bay Horse maybe?

Brafferton has a few livery yards, as does Coatham Munderville and there is a livery yard near Mc Donalds in Aycliffe.

If you want more info just let me know but like I said it will be a few days before I can get some numbers.
