Livery in north Ipswich

Hi, I’m seriously considering purchasing a horse, however need to find good livery beforehand. I live in Westerfield, does anyone know of both diy and full livery in the area with good local hacking and an indoor arena?! Thank you.

Indeed. But there are several livery yards in the area, different standards, offers, prices etc and a decent network of bridlepaths.

If an indoor arena is essential, then you're looking at Topthorn EC or Orwell Arena, so compromising on location and possibly on the full livery option. Most of us manage just fine with an outdoor arena and hiring somewhere indoors when necessary.

When I lived in Westerfield, we used Newton Hall equestrian at Swilland. Admittedly, that was 50 years ago, but it's still going strong.

Aw, I thought Rossie would go on forever. It's thanks to her and a beautiful grey pony called Swallow, I learnt to ride 53 years ago.
Glad the place is still running though.
