Anyone know of any decent yards that has vacancies for 2 part/assisted DIY liveries? Prefer smaller yard but no yard will be dismissed!! Must have a school and turnout. Roadwork to hacking not an issue.

Please help - don't know where to turn now!!

Would look at Cobham, Epsom, Weybridge, Dorking, Banstead, Kingswood etc.

Thanks

Horton Farm in Epsom.
Either Yewlands or Courtlands in Banstead - both near Hengest Farm if you know the area.

Best bet is to ask round the local tack shops though.

Don't go to Courtlands (PM me if you want more info) - Yewlands is basic DIY and full of teenagers now.

My friend owns Huntersfield and may have space - she's worth a call!

That's taken me back! I used to work there when it was first a riding school! Oh happy days.

It wasn't too bad back then; (would be about '68) when Jo Reddington bought it; she had had a school before that near High Wycombe and brought quite a few of her old stock with her. Used to have a lot of fun riding over the downs, loved it but I hated the journey every morning from Croydon plus on a Sunday, they were always much later than when I was meant to start too so I always felt guilty!

I'm at Horton Farm in Epsom. Its not small, probably 40ish horses. It does DIY, assisted and part livery. Outdoor school, horsewalker, jumping field and all year turnout, 24/7 in the summer.

PR, yes he's lovely. Always helps when he can. My horse was having ditch issues this year and he got his digger out and dug me a massive ditch in the jumping field. Not many YO's would do that!
